Following a competitive selection process, the Organizing Committee has carefully reviewed all applications submitted by students whose abstracts were accepted for presentation at the ASSC 2025 Conference.

Travel Grants for Students – ASSC 2025

 

We are pleased to announce that students whose submissions have been accepted for the upcoming ASSC 2025 Conference are now eligible to apply for travel grants to cover their travel expenses.

Interested applicants should express their interest by sending an email to assc2025@symvoli.gr, including the following details:

• Title of your accepted abstract (poster or talk)

• Institution

• Country of residence

• A brief justification for the travel grant application

The Organizing Committee will review all applications, and applicants will be notified in due time regarding the outcome of their submission.

We encourage all eligible students to apply and look forward to your participation in the conference.

The ASSC will be once again awarding 20 Travel Awards of $500 to students and postdocs. The aim is to help early career researchers with limited financial support to attend the conference. 

The allocation of the travel awards is based on criteria including scientific merit, access to other funding opportunities, and alignment with academic career goals. 

To be eligible, applicants must be students or postdocs within 7 years of obtaining their PhD (extensions will be granted for parental or other extended leave taken). The funds can be used to support the cost of travel, accommodation or registration to the conference, as well as other costs such as childcare or any special needs that may affect your ability to attend the conference.
